Two soldiers were injured Thursday during an IDF counterterrorism operation in the Jenin area after an explosive device detonated, the military said.
An officer sustained severe injuries, and a non-commissioned officer was lightly injured. Both were evacuated to a hospital for treatment. Their families have been notified, the IDF said.
The incident occurred during ongoing security operations in the area, which have included searches and raids targeting suspected terrorists.
