The Health Ministry said on Monday that in the past day 745 new cases of coronavirus were confirmed out of 33,671 tests conducted showing a 2.8% positivity rate.
There are currently 298 people in serious condition being treated in hospitals with 130 on ventilators.
Since the start of the pandemic, 2,806 people have succumbed to the virus.
