A senior member of the Biden administration said "it is too early to know whether Iran was involved in the attack" by Hamas on Israel. "There is no doubt that Hamas is financed and equipped by Iran and others, and that is why we took actions to impose sanctions on Iran because of its support for Hamas," the official also said.
