An employee of a contracting company that performs engineering work for the IDF on behalf of the Ministry of Defense was killed in the central Gaza Strip, according to the IDF spokesman. The employee was killed as a result of an operational accident in the Netzarim Corridor, in which shooting was carried out due to mistaken identification by IDF forces. The incident is being investigated by the Southern Command.
