Knesset Speaker: 'Benny Sagi had a rare ability to find paths of compromise and agreement'

Knesset Speaker Amir Ohana eulogized District Court President Benny Sagi, who was killed in a car accident. He said that "Sagi was a straightforward man, very knowledgeable in criminal law, with a rare ability to find paths of compromise and agreement." MK Yitzhak Kreuzer (Jewish Power), a member of the Judicial Selection Committee, also eulogized: "I knew Benny through our joint work on the Judicial Selection Committee, as well as in various professional meetings, including at assessment centers. Benny was a respected jurist, a serious, thoughtful and dedicated person who worked all his life to strengthen the justice system and serve the public."
