The Prime Minister's Office approved the release of five Lebanese citizens who were arrested in southern Lebanon by the IDF, after it said "it became clear that they are not members of a terror organization, were not involved in terrorism and there is no reason to continue holding them in Israel." According to the PM's Office, their release is being carried out following "actions taken by both Lebanon and Israel to locate the bodies of community leaders in Lebanon who were kidnapped and murdered in the mid-1980s by terror organizations."
