Dozens of Palestinian terrorists threw stones at an off-duty IDF soldier and an Israeli civilian during civil engineering works in the village of Duma south of Nablus. According to the IDF spokesperson, the soldier responded by firing in the air, and when the terrorists continued throwing stones he fired to remove the threat and a hit was identified. The IDF added that subsequently the terrorists attempted to seize the soldier's weapon. As a result of the attack, the civilian and soldier were lightly wounded. The Palestinians claim, on the other hand, that one person, Tameen Dawabsheh, was killed by gunfire in the area.
