The Syrian Presidency confirmed that a mutual understanding has been reached between the Syrian government and the Syrian Democratic Forces (SDF) regarding issues related to the future of Hasakah province in northeastern Syria. It was also reported that the Presidency gave the Kurdish-led democratic forces four days to agree to a plan for "practical integration" of Kurds in the province. According to the announcement, the agreement will take effect this evening at 8:00 PM. The Syrian Defense Ministry also declared a four-day ceasefire.
