IDF forces thwarted an attempt to smuggle weapons from Egypt into Israel. The IDF spokesperson announced that forces identified and shot down a drone attempting to smuggle the weapons. Upon reaching the drone, forces discovered ten M16 rifles. "The confiscated weapons were transferred for further handling by security forces," the statement said.
