The Pentagon has halted shipments of several air defense missiles and precision munitions to Ukraine due to concerns that U.S. weapons inventory has dropped to too low of a threshold. This was reported by Politico, which noted that the decision was made by Pentagon policy chief Elbridge Colby after a review of ammunition stockpiles. According to three sources familiar with the matter, there were concerns that the number of artillery shells, air defense missiles and precision munitions is dwindling.
