Wilner to government representative: 'You're essentially saying wait until we win then investigate – that's dropping a bomb'

|
Government representative Michael Rabello said during a High Court hearing that "the time has not yet come to establish a commission of inquiry. We are now in a very fragile ceasefire, I was concerned we wouldn't be able to make it to the hearing." Deputy Supreme Court President Noam Solberg said: "How many years can we wait?" The government representative replied: "The main thing right now is for the State of Israel to win the fighting on all fronts, we need to win that's the main thing." Justice Yael Wilner said: "In my view this is dramatic, this is a bomb – it's not a question of how to investigate, right now there's no investigation at all. We'll wait until we win on all fronts, that's what you're saying, we'll win then we'll start investigating."
