Hundreds of ultra-Orthodox extremists are protesting near Camp Gur (Base 21) adjacent to Kfar Yona following the arrest of army deserters. The Kfar Yona municipality announced that "police have blocked traffic on the road from HaSharon Junction (Beit Lid) to the intersection of highways 57 and 562. Entry to and exit from Kfar Yona is currently possible via Pardesia Junction."
