Defense Minister Israel Katz addressed the destruction of underground infrastructure in the Ali Taher ridge and said: "We promised and we delivered. The terrorists were eliminated and the Ali Taher tunnels were destroyed. All credit to the IDF." Meanwhile, IDF forces are preparing defensive lines and leaving the ridge, but will remain at positions from which they can control observation and fire over the areas where Hezbollah is located. The military aims to contain the incident so it does not spill over into other arenas, and is preparing for various scenarios: an Iranian response, rocket fire toward northern communities or explosive drone launches toward the forces. The likelihood of such responses is perceived as low.
