The US aircraft carrier George H.W. Bush is sailing in the Madagascar area and is expected to arrive in the Middle East within days, where it will join two aircraft carriers already operating in the region: the Abraham Lincoln, stationed near the Strait of Oman and assisting in the blockade on Iran, and the Gerald R. Ford, operating in the Red Sea. This was reported by NBC, which noted that the Bush will likely replace the Ford, which has been on mission for about 300 consecutive days. However, it was noted that for at least a limited period of time, there will be three American aircraft carriers in the region.
