Saar attacks Dublin for removing Herzog from park name: 'Sick antisemitic obsession'

Itamar Eichner|
Foreign Minister Gideon Saar condemned the decision by the Dublin City Council, the capital of Ireland, to remove the name of the sixth president Chaim Herzog from a park in the city, stating that "there is no more precise and justified decision than closing the embassy in Dublin. The city has become the capital of antisemitism in the world, the Irish antisemitic and anti-Israeli obsession is sick." According to him, "Chaim Herzog grew up in Dublin and his father was the Chief Rabbi of Ireland. What cannot be removed is the disgrace."
