Police Commissioner Maj. Gen. Danny Levi arrived at the site of the Iranian missile strike in Beersheba and said: "This is a scene of severe destruction where 4 civilians were killed and dozens of wounded were evacuated for medical treatment. However, civilian discipline and adherence to Home Front Command instructions prevented a much greater disaster and harm to many more civilian lives." The police chief added praise for the quick response of police officers and all emergency and rescue services.
