The protest activist arrested on suspicion of planning to assassinate Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu began planning after discovering she had a terminal illness. She told another protest activist that "if she's already dying," she plans to "take Bibi to the grave with her." She later attempted to inquire about Netanyahu's security arrangements. The protest activist with whom she spoke reported this to prominent protest figure Gonen Ben Yitzhak, who reported it to the Shin Bet security service. She was arrested and admitted to the allegations during questioning.
