17 people were killed and dozens wounded in an explosion at a mosque inside a police station in the city of Kohat in Pakistan. This was reported by the country's Interior Ministry. Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif condemned the blast, demanded a report from the relevant authorities regarding its nature and causes, and wished a speedy recovery to the wounded. According to one Pakistani report, six of those killed were police officers and about 40 were wounded in the explosion.
