Senior IDF northern command officer Brig. Gen. Amit Fisher tells Golan mayors there are no special security measures in place following the reported attack on Iranian backed targets in Syria late Tuesday.
"Our objective is to prevent Iranian entrenchment in Syria and to that end we have increased our air defenses and are focused on allowing the civilian routine in the Golan Heights region to continue undisturbed."
