Coronavirus czar Ronni Gamzu tells ministers tasked with stemming the spread of the pathogen that he recommends limits on gatherings throughout the High Holidays and preventing movement between cities for the festivals themselves.
Gamzu also suggested that for the two weeks after the holidays, educational institutions are open only for students up to fourth grade.
He also recommended that restaurants are only open until 5pm throughout the holiday period.
