A United Arab Emirates' Etihad Airways plane flew over the skies of Israel for the first time on Wednesday, on its way from Milan, Italy, to Abu Dhabi in the Emirates. The plane, which is the first to receive permission to fly over Israel and the Jordan, shortened its flight time by about an hour and a half by flying through Israel airspace.
