The Knesset's Constitution Committee approved new closure regulations on Thursday. The government complied with the committee's request to increase the distance people will be allowed to stray from their residence during the closure from 500 meters to 1,000 meters. The new regulation will go into effect along with the closure on Friday at 2 pm, and will last for 14 days.
