Israeli man injured in stabbing attack in northern West Bank

IDF troops at Yitzhar junction on Route 60 eliminated the terrorist, a 16-year-old Palestinian teen; victim is in serious condition

A young man was seriously injured in a stabbing attack on Tuesday afternoon at the Yitzhar junction on Route 60 in the northern West Bank. IDF forces operating at the scene eliminated the terrorist.

The injured man was treated by medics at the scene before being taken to a hospital. Beilinson Hospital in Petah Tikva announced that he remains in serious condition, after his condition was earlier defined as moderate. It was later announced that the injured man is an IDF soldier.
Soldiers are scanning the area for additional terrorists, according to the IDF.
The attacker was later identified by Palestinian media as a 16-year-old teen, Muhammad Shahada, from the village of Orif south of Nablus in the West Bank.
