Malaysian authorities released a Palestinian Hamas operative from Gaza, who was abducted by the Mossad in the capital Kuala Lumpur, reported the Arab news outlet Al Jazeera.
According to the sources, the abduction took place in late September after the Mossad hired agents from Malaysia to carry it out.
Another report stated that Malaysian intelligence managed to trace the abductors and arrest them, as well as release the Hamas operative within 24 hours.
