COGAT: 216 trucks with humanitarian aid transferred to Gaza Wednesday

The Coordinator of Government Activities in the Territories announced that 216 trucks carrying humanitarian aid were transferred to the Gaza Strip Wednesday. Some 165 of them were brought in through the Kerem Shalom crossing, and 51 through the Erez crossing. The trucks carried food and medical equipment, including supplies for the logistical operation of the polio vaccine innoculation operation. According to COGAT: "136 trucks were brought to the Gaza side of Kerem Shalom - 124 by the private sector and only 12 by the UN." It was also reported that "six cooking gas tankers intended for operating essential infrastructures were transferred."
