Egypt has allowed Amal Haniyeh, the wife of Hamas leader Ismail Haniyeh, to leave the Gaza Strip and join her husband who has been living in Qatar for the past two years. This is after the authorities in Cairo banned her from leaving the Strip through the Rafah crossing for the past two years.
