Ben Gvir's provocations could stir up Hamas conflict, source warns

A senior Israeli source warned Monday evening that far-right lawmaker Itamar Ben Gvir's entrenchment in the East Jerusalem neighborhood of Sheikh Jarrah could light up a conflict with Hamas.
"We fear that MK Itamar Ben Gvir's provocations could escalate tensions with Hamas and light a conflagration," the source told Ynet.
The source added that the events unfolding in Jerusalem put President Isaac Herzog's visit to Turkey, which is planned for the end of the month, in question.
