The administration of US President Donald Trump plans to deport illegal migrant from El Salvador Kilmer Abrejo Garcia (30) to Eswatini - a small country in southern Africa. Less than two weeks ago it was reported that the administration planned to deport the migrant to Uganda, after he had already been deported to El Salvador and returned to the US, before being arrested again. An official from the US Department of Homeland Security sent an email to the migrant's lawyers, explaining that the destination country for deportation was changed due to Abrejo's declared fear of "persecution and torture in Uganda". The migrant, originally from El Salvador, is currently being held in an immigration detention facility in Virginia.
