Macron, Sisi and Abdullah call for immediate Gaza ceasefire, urgent humanitarian aid

French President Emmanuel Macron, Egyptian President Abdel Fattah el-Sisi and Jordan’s King Abdullah II on Monday called for an immediate ceasefire in Gaza and the swift delivery of humanitarian aid to Palestinians.
Following a trilateral summit in Cairo, the three leaders urged the full implementation of a ceasefire agreement that includes the release of hostages and detainees and guarantees security for all.
They also rejected the displacement of Palestinians from their land and opposed any attempt to annex Palestinian territory.
