Making her first public comment since her husband was brutally attacked in their home, House Speaker Nancy Pelosi once again quoted from Israeli poet Ehud Manor's "I have no other country."
"I can't keep silent in light of how my country has changed her face, won’t quit trying to remind her. In her ears, I'll sing my cries until she opens her eyes. I can't keep silent of how my country has changed her face," the speaker read from the poem.
Pelosi, on a video call thanked the outpouring of support for husband Paul (82) who was wounded in the attack last week.
