A pair of American B-52 bombers fly over the Mideast, in the fourth-such bomber deployment this year and the second under President Joe Biden.
The U.S. military's Central Command says the two B-52s flew over the region accompanied by military aircraft from nations including Israel, Saudi Arabia and Qatar.
Without directly mentioning Iran, the U.S. military says the flight was to "deter aggression and reassure partners and allies of the U.S. military's commitment to security in the region."
