Rocket fire to south resumes, IDF says attcked PIJ mortar launchers

After a half-hour lull rocket fire from Gaza resumed, targeting communities near the border.
Earlier the IDF said it carried out strikes against two Islamic Jihad mortar launch pads in the Strip. According to the Palestinians, at least 19 people were killed in the Israeli attacks.
"We will continue to work to defend the residents of Israel," the military said in a statement.
