Democratic Congresswomen Ilhan Omar and Rashida Tlaib, among the most prominent critics of Israel in the U.S., have been reelected to another term. Omar won in Minnesota, about three weeks after federal agents raided her home as part of an investigation related to her immigration documents. Omar denies the allegations and claims political persecution by the Trump administration. Tlaib, the first woman of Palestinian descent elected to Congress, won in Michigan and was elected to a fifth term. The two demand an end to American military aid to Israel and accuse it of committing genocide in Gaza. So far, Democrats have won 206 seats in the House of Representatives, and Republicans 119.
