Former Prime Minister Naftali Bennett presented his benefits plan for discharged soldiers and reservists, which will also include sanctions on those who avoid military or national service - if he is elected in the next elections. The benefits include, among other things, one million shekels for purchasing a first apartment, daycare for ages 0-3, free after-school programs and summer school, as well as half-priced state services: electricity, water, property tax, public transportation and even vehicle inspections. Bennett said in his statement: "From today - those who serve are at the top, and those who choose to dodge will be at the bottom. We are taking the 25 billion shekels that go to draft dodgers and coalition funds, and transferring it all to those who serve."
