Justice Minister Yariv Levin announced that the government will revive the process to dismiss Attorney General Gali Baharav-Miara, bypassing the search committee. According to his announcement, the matter will be brought to the next cabinet meeting. "The ministerial committee will hold a hearing for the Attorney General and submit its recommendation regarding dismissal. It is also proposed that the government can dismiss the advisor with a 75% majority of its members," the statement read.
