Hamas delegation to visit Cairo for renewed hostage, cease-fire talks

A senior Hamas delegation led by Khalil al-Hayya is expected to travel to Cairo on Saturday for renewed negotiations over a potential cease-fire and hostage release, Saudi broadcaster Al Hadath reported on Friday.
Citing unnamed sources, the report said there is “no final proposal on the table” and that ongoing talks mediated by Egypt involve revisions to the current cease-fire framework.
The sources said Hamas has shown “flexibility” regarding the number of hostages it may release and its future role in governing Gaza.
