The Health Ministry on Wednesday morning reported that 568 new coronavirus cases had been diagnosed the previous day.
With 90,611 tests conducted on Tuesday, the infection rate stands at 0.64%.
Out of 5,669 active patients, 115 are in serious condition, with 65 connected to ventilators.
Since the start of the pandemic, 8,196 Israelis have succumbed to the disease.
