Health Minister Nitzan Horowitz announced on Wednesday the appointment of Prof. Salman Zarka as Israel's new coronavirus czar.
Zarka, who for the past 7 years severed as the director of Safed's Ziv Medical Center, is a former IDF general who oversaw the military's medical operations.
