Likud MK Amichai Chikli said on Thursday that the ongoing boycott of several parties on cooperating with Prime Minister-designate Benjamin Netanyahu in a government only makes the influence of the ultra-Orthodox parties greater.
"The power of the ultra-Orthodox parties increases tenfold when parties say that they are not even prepared to imagine cooperating with the Likud," Chikli told Hebrew-language Ynet Radio in response to criticism of his party's coalition agreement with Haredi factions.
"What pushed us to a corner is the policy of boycotting Netanyahu, and as a result Likud and its voters."
