Thousands of Palestinians protested overnight in support of Nablus after an Israeli anti-terror operation in the West Bank city saw at least 11 killed and more than 100 wounded on Wednesday.
The protesters responded to calls from the militant group Lion's Den to show their support.
Hamas leader Ismail Haniyeh said the Palestinian people will not allow the emerging intifada in the West Bank to be quashed.
