National Security Minister Itamar Ben-Gvir harshly criticized Defense Minister Israel Katz’s plan to facilitate humanitarian aid to Gaza through civilian companies revealed on Wednesday, saying: “Not a single grain of food should enter Gaza until our hostages are freed from Hamas’ tunnels.”
In a statement, Ben-Gvir called the proposed aid corridor a “historic mistake” that would relieve pressure on Hamas amid stalled negotiations for hostage releases. “Resuming aid before Hamas surrenders is wrong. I will do everything to prevent this step and urge the prime minister and defense minister to stop it,” he said.
