The government websites at gov.il were intermittently unavailable at the end of the day on Sunday. According to an inspection by the National Digital Agency, they were under a major denial of service (DOS) attack whose origin is still unclear. In the last two days, anti-Israeli, pro-Palestinian and other hacker groups began to try and take advantage of the situation to attack the Israeli network intensively. Websites, mostly small, but also larger ones such as the Jerusalem Post's were compromised earlier on Sunday. ()
