Israeli swimmer Anastasia Gorbenko on Sunday won her second gold medal in the World Swimming Championships in Abu Dhabi in the 100-meter medley final.
The 18-year-old stopped the clock at 57.80 seconds, besting her own personal record and picking up the top spot on the podium.
Gorbenko's feat comes fresh on the heels of her triumphant outing in the 50-meter breaststroke final on Friday, which made her the first-ever Israeli to win gold in the prestigious competition.
Gorbenko will later try to qualify for another World Championships final, this time in the 100-meter breaststroke category after she qualified for the half-finals stage Sunday morning, after stopping the clock at 1:05.47 minutes and finishing ninth in the qualifiers.
