Chairman of the US Joint Chiefs of Staff, Gen. Mark Milley arrived for a farewell visit as the official guest of IDF Chief of Staff, Major General Herzi Halevi, who presented Milley with an honor guard and a medal of appreciation. "Your time was defined by unprecedented joint actions and operative coordination in which we significantly improved stability in the Middle East,” Halevi said. “The strategic alliance between Israel and the US continues to be a significant pillar of our national security, and it has been strengthened over the past two years with the transition of the IDF to CENTCOM, under your leadership and command," he said.
