UK-based news outlet Daily Mail reported Thursday that London’s Metropolitan Police recorded a rise of 13 times in antisemitic hate crimes in the city following Hamas’ attack on October 7, when compared to figures from 2022.
According to the report, 679 antisemitic crimes were recorded by local law enforcement forces from October 7 to November 7, compared to 50 such crimes during the same period in 2022 and 80 incidents in 2021.
