The Health Ministry on Sunday morning that 4,975 Israelis out of 87,744 tested positive for coronavirus the previous day - putting the infection rate at 5.76%, its lowest in over two weeks.
Out of 91,346 active patients, 679 are in serious condition, with 143 connected to ventilators.
The death toll since the start of the pandemic rose to 7,154.
