The Finance Ministry reported that it had transferred NIS 1.8 billion to the health system, for its ongoing fight against COVID.
According to the announcement, the money will be used, among other things, to strengthen the COVID testing array in orange and red cities, to support and bolster the medical staffs working in the hospitals' COVID wards, and to offer additional support for the country's health funds.
The money will also be used to bolster the vaccination campaign and the epidemiological investigation system.
