Five Israeli embassies have been evacuated or not staffed since the beginning of the war; They are the embassies in Egypt, Jordan, Morocco, Bahrain and Turkmenistan, whose staffs have been returned to Israel. In addition, the Foreign Ministry has temporarily closed, fully or partially, 20 embassies all over the world, including in Europe and South America, following warnings or large demonstrations taking place in those countries. In these countries, the diplomatic representatives were instructed to stay at home and continue working from there, or were transferred to other cities in the same country that are considered safer.
