Mother who lost her daughter at Nova: 'Until they return, we cannot mourn'

|
Yaira Gutman, whose daughter Tamar was murdered at the Nova music festival, said at the Hostages Square that "Tamar was only 27 and a half. She was a law student and was supposed to return after the holiday for the academic year. Her friends are finishing their degrees this year, but Tamar will not graduate with them. She went to the Nova festival with four childhood friends and was murdered along with them. We didn't know anything. We found her phone, her friends were found and brought to burial - but there was no trace or sign of Tamar. We were here with everyone at the hostages' headquarters with many questions. After a month, the news came. Our world was destroyed and our hope collapsed. Since then, we've been here because until they return to their homes, the tragedy of October 7 will not end and we cannot begin to mourn."
