Arbel Yahud: 'Hostages are one decision away. Government must choose - rescue or abandonment'

|
Captivity survivor Arbel Yahud delivered a statement at the Hostages Square in Tel Aviv, urging the government to act for their release: "I was held captive in Gaza for 482 long and difficult days. My partner, Ariel Konio, was kidnapped with me. Three hours after we were kidnapped, we were forcibly separated, and since then I haven't seen or heard from him. The anxiety about his fate doesn't leave me for a moment. I was there. I know exactly what they're going through. This must stop - and it can stop. Because everyone, all the hostages, both living and deceased - are just one decision away from here. The Israeli government faces a single choice: rescue - or abandonment".
